Premium Liquid Culture Lids for easy aseptic dispensing - The Culturenator!

Introducing the latest product from Urban Myco - The Culturenator! These advanced liquid culture jar lids are the perfect addition to the family of snazzy bits in your mycology lab.

These lids are designed and assembled by Urban Myco in the UK using the highest quality premium parts meaning that 100% of the product is auto-clavable to ensure an aseptic environment. We have used them ourselves and tested them over many, many uses in the autoclave / pressure cooker.

Each lids comes with a 13mm self healing injection port, a laboratory-grade 0.22um Micron PTFE Syringe Filter, Polypropylene bulkhead valve linked to medical grade silicone tubing at both ends with the tubing being a wider gauge inside the jar to be able to withdraw even the thickest liquid cultures (for example the King Oyster Mushroom), a Luer Lock Adapter at the top of the tube allows for fast aseptic withdrawal into your choice of syringes when used with the supplied slide pinch, all this is then completed with a luer lock stopper to finish it.

These are the standard 70mm lid versions, and also the "wide mouth" 86mm lid versions. The length of the tubing that goes inside the jar comes supplied as 12cm in length (14cm for wide mouth), accommodating the standard 450ml / pint size mason jars. However if you wish to use these lids with larger jars let us know when you place your order and we'll size the tubing accordingly for you :)
